Petraia is best reached by car (either self-driven or with a driver) as we are at the end of 3 kilometers of dirt road, half an hour from the nearest train station and 10 kilometers from the nearest bus stop.
If you are arriving from outside the country, Florence’s Peretola Airport is the nearest international airport, about an hour’s drive to Petraia. Rome’s Fiumicino has direct flights from a number of North American cities but is a three hour drive. Pisa’s Galileo Galilei is about two.
